When I discovered Notion, the structure of the way I think was able to be manifested outside of my head for the first time. That’s a powerful experience, and one I’ve loved helping businesses leverage ever since.

I started to see Notion as the key to it all. I’ve watched too many project management system failures due to SaaS product proliferation. A well designed Notion operating system truly stands to benefit everyone, and we enjoy making that happen.

Notion has woven itself into every aspect of my life and business. It’s my go-to app for managing all aspects of my business, personal and professional growth, finances, content creation, and more. One of my favorite ways of using Notion is as a creative space for brainstorming and designing process automation for myself, our team, and our clients.

I was first introduced to Notion around 2019. By 2021, I started a role at Dark Matter Labs where I was tasked to maintain and re-imagine our entire Notion workspace to be built and evolve around a fundamentally different governance structure. With new capabilities from Notion and its ultimate flexibility, I was enabled to design an optimal system for a remote-first team. Allowing me to map out the complexities I find in work and life is why I continue to love Notion.

My fascination with Notion began over four years ago when I discovered the true potential of Notion. What started as a personal curiosity evolved into an understanding of how to build efficient, scalable systems, not just for personal productivity but also for business operations.

I discovered Notion over 4 years ago and immediately got hooked as a productivity systems enthusiast, finding it perfect for creating customized, efficient workflows. After successfully building content creation systems and discovering the thriving template creator market, I made it my mission to apply my business skills as an independent Notion consultant.

I’m Yina, a little obsessed with how Notion makes complex work feel simple—giving me the agency to design systems that scale without breaking and help teams do more with less. My whole life runs in Notion, from family logistics to ambitious builds, and I love crafting clean, high‑performance setups that keep focus on what actually matters.

I’ve been using Notion extensively for software documentation and recognized its power for organizing complex information, which led me to explore broader possibilities within the Notion ecosystem. Now I’m leveraging my development expertise at Notion State to create custom solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible with the platform.

I first discovered Notion in 2019 and what started as a digital junk drawer quickly became my brain outside of my body. With 8 years of background in marketing and sales consulting, I’d seen firsthand how much businesses leave on the table when their operations aren’t set up to support them. People stop communicating, systems operate in silos, and growth stalls. Notion brings it all back together, and once you see what a well built workspace can do, it’s hard to unsee. I joined Notion State to align my energy with that kind of impact and help businesses operate better from the inside out.

I build systems for teams that are tired of duct-taping tools together. My path into Notion is a bit different—after a severe snowboarding accident, I had to relearn how my brain processed information. Notion became a huge part of that process, helping me structure, organize, and rebuild how I think and work. Since then, I’ve been all-in—designing CRMs, operating systems, and automation for teams across startups, churches, and companies around the world. Also: big tech and gadget nerd. If there’s a new tool, I’ve probably already broken it.

After discovering Notion in 2020, it quickly became central to my work creating operational infrastructures for clients across industries including in high-growth startup environments. I built a strong foundation as a solutions partner through cross-functional program management and exploring the technical side of integrating Notion with external platforms. I joined the Notion State team to continue innovating for businesses through Notion.

I used to jump between tools, constantly looking for something that worked the way I think. That changed when I found Notion while studying to become a developer. What started as a note-taking tool quickly became the place where everything lived, and more importantly, worked together. Thinking in systems, logic, and architecture comes from my background. Notion turned out to be the perfect canvas to build on. At Notion State, I get to combine that builder’s instinct with the platform I love building in.

Without planning for it, Notion became the dream infrastructure for AI-first businesses. AI needs indexed context to do great work. Adding Notion’s AI features to this library of perfectly organized information and connecting other AI tools into your Notion account (like Claude Cowork) creates the AI-powered future we’ve all heard was coming, but couldn’t experience in long chat threads. The future is here, and businesses running on Notion have already stepped into it.”

For years, my work was less about software and more about helping people with a shared purpose organize themselves with more clarity, joy, and care. Then I started using Notion as a home for collaborative projects. It became the place where people, ideas, tasks, dreams, and decisions could finally live together in a way that made sense, and little by little, Notion became part of my work. Today, I’m a certified Notion consultant and Notion Ambassador, and I care deeply about mapping before building, clean handoffs, and systems that people can actually understand and use.
