Challenge
Wellzesta faced significant operational challenges stemming from their global, remote-first structure. Their product and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, spread across various time zones, lacked a centralized roadmap and a systematic way to intake customer issues and link them with product features. The QA process was confined to an expensive tool with limited access, creating bottlenecks in quality assurance and product development. Additionally, the product team’s use of disparate tools led to difficulties in centralizing product management and gaining a clear understanding of the issues faced by teams and individuals. This lack of centralized task and feature tracking for their products resulted in excessive live meetings and duplicative efforts. Moreover, the GTM team’s reliance on Google Sheets prevented a comprehensive view of client implementation statuses and updates. Wellzesta recognized the potential of Notion to address these challenges and sought a solution to centralize and streamline their operations.
Solution
Our objective was to develop an operating system within Notion that would empower Wellzesta’s Product and GTM teams to centralize their operations and facilitate self-service access to project progress and priorities. We initiated the project by engaging in process strategy discussions to deeply understand their unique product management style and GTM strategy. Based on these insights, we crafted a bespoke Notion-based system tailored to their specific needs. This system was designed to bring coherence and efficiency to their dispersed teams, enabling them to collaborate effectively despite the geographical and time zone differences.
